Greek Wakeboard and Kite Surf Association
GWA, the first Greek Wakeboard and Kite Surf Association, was founded in 2001 in order to promote and develop these two extreme water sports in Greece. GWA is a non-profit organization that already counts more than 300 members. The association prepares series of wakeboard and kite surf events each year in greece. Furthermore, through its partnership with IKO, the International Kiteboarding Organization, GWA ensures and promotes the standards for safe teaching practices, through the development of approved schools and Instructor Training Courses held each summer.
